Volunteer for the Scary Things

My recruiter told me over and over never to volunteer when I joined the Military. That theme was a constant one throughout my 8 years in the Air Force. It didn’t work! I was “Volunteered” anyway on my first day in Boot Camp by our Drill Instructor!

I hated being volunteered, and I hated the job I was volunteered for that I had to preform every moment of every day for 8 weeks!

Turns out it was the best thing that could have happened to me!

Super Hero

My son asked me if I could be any Super Hero or choose a super attribute which would it be?  He assumed I would say Hulk because he is one of my favorite characters. Who doesn’t like to Smash!

One of the worst bosses I ever had went through employees like they were disposable diapers. This person never understood that she was motivating the team to LEAVE. Within the first 3 years of being the boss she went through over 30 new employees. Is that some kind of record?
