I never wanted a job.

Working for someone else and building their dream never seemed appealing to me.

The funny thing is, for the past 40 years, I’ve had a job working for someone else!

During those years, my wife and I also owned 12 different businesses.

The Best Thing I’ve Done for My Job is Become an Entrepreneur!

Do you remember the first time you bought a Home?

As a renter, you have no real responsibility except for yourself, but as a homeowner, you are now responsible for everything.

Ownership changes you!

It demands that you get better and forces you outside your comfort zones every day.

The “job” radically changed when I became an Entrepreneur.

My attitude went from an Employee Mentality to an Ownership Mentality.

Employee Mentality is a Cancer to the Job. It takes no responsibility outside of the job description.

This Mentality is all about Me and rarely becomes a team player.

When I had this, my symptoms were Complaining, Blaming, Whining, Rationalizing, Gossiping, and Making Excuses.

Entrepreneurism healed me of the Disease of Employee Mentality!

Once I was free from this Mentality, everything changed at the Job.

I stopped looking for ways to get over, coming in late consistently, acting busy when the boss came around, and being involved in office politics and drama.

Becoming an Owner and having the responsibilities of a business, employees, payroll, budgets, customers, and being involved with the Community forced me to become better.

Owning a business is NOT for the faint of heart. It will test you in EVERY area of your life and force you to become stronger, wiser, and deeper than you ever thought possible.

Looking back, I would NOT change a thing, including the two business failures where we lost everything!

The Man, Husband, Father, Employee, and Business Owner that I have become because of being an Entrepreneur are PRICELESS!

Do you want to change your Job and life into something you Get to Do versus something you HAVE to do?

Then start a small business on your weekends and nights. It doesn’t have to be anything big or expensive.

The key is to force yourself out of your comfort zone, and becoming an Entrepreneur is just what the Doctor ordered!
