No matter how much or how little Energy you have, the day will still demand your best.

You have work, family, errands, commitments, a household, civic, and church responsibilities.

ALL these things will take ENERGY!

My days used to be an unmotivated mess because I never seemed to have the Energy required to do what needed to be done.

I used to get out of breath tying my shoes because my belly cut off air to my brain while bent over.

Every morning I would hit the snooze button a dozen times while whining about how tired I was and frustrated that I must go to work!

My days were filled with complaining about how I had it and how unfair life was.

I was sleep-walking through life because I was constantly drained and felt like I needed a nap.

For the last 25 years, I have dedicated myself to changing my Energy and, in the process, changing my life!

Over those years, I have tried hundreds of things to improve my Energy.

Here are My 10 Favorite ways to Increase Energy:

1.    Know your Why

The # 1 cause of Stress is work because we do not know or understand our Purpose and Passion!

The highest death rate in the US is Monday mornings because 80% of the workers start stressing about work starting Sunday.

Stress consumes HUGE amounts of Energy.

You Must change your attitude about work. It is a Blessing and NOT a curse!

Each person who hates their job chose to feel that way, so that means you can decide to love it since ONLY YOU control how you feel.

2.    Protect Your Energy

There are two types of people in the world: Those with Positive Energy and those with Negative Energy.

Choose wisely what and who you listen to, watch, invest time with, and allow in your inner circle.

Positive Energy is as valuable as Gold, and everyone who does not have it will try and steal it!

3.  Learn to Say No

One of the main reasons for fatigue is trying to be a people pleaser.

Define your goals and set your priorities and then stand by them.

You cannot be everything to everybody, nor can you please everyone.

Family, Friends, and Coworkers will ask and sometimes pressure you to do their thing – Learn to Say NO!

4.    Drink half Your Weight in water

A friend of mine recommended this to me almost 25 years ago, and it has worked wonders.

At the time, I weighed 320 pounds, had stomach problems, and my joints and back constantly hurt.

I started drinking half my weight in water = 160 ounces per day.

This eliminated all the many sodas, ice teas, and fruit drinks I consumed all day long.

The results were unbelievable. I lost a lot of weight, my appetite decreased, my desire for sugary food decreased, my energy increased, and most of my stomach problems went away.

5.    Exercise

No matter how tired I am or how bad I feel after exercising, I feel so much better and have more Energy.

I went through a 5-year period where I did not exercise, which radically affected my attitude, energy, and health.

No matter what is happening in my life, this one is non-negotiable.

Start small if you must but START!

You were created to be an Elite Race Car, NOT a Mud Bogger!

Since you still must face and do life every day, I suggest you do it with MORE, not less Energy!
