Last week we discussed the first 5 of 10 ways You can increase your Energy every day!

The marketplace is loaded with “Get Energy Quick” Gimmicks.

These drinks, pills, and potions prey on people looking for an easy way to solve a life of being tired and unmotivated.

For 5 years, I tried everything advertised to cure my lethargic life but all it did, in the long run, was addict me to these products and eventually made me even more tired, stressed, depressed, and unmotivated.

Energy makes everything you have to do in life EASIER!

Your Family, Job, Responsibilities, Church, Civic duties, and Friends all take ENERGY and LOTS of it.

Rock Stars, Mountain Dews, Coffee, and Iced Teas are Fools Gold in the Energy world.

I learned how to generate Natural Energy without the nasty health side effects, and you can too.

Here is the second part of My Top 10 Favorite Ways to increase Energy.

1. Choose the Right Gas for your Engine.

Do you Eat to Live or Live to Eat?

My motto used to be Quantity over Quality when it came to food!

The food you are consuming will either give you more life, energy, and health, or it will take more of your life, energy, and health!

Take the time to prep healthy food each week so that you protect you from you.

When I changed how I ate, it radically changed my life, energy, and health!

2.      Find a Cause

Life must be bigger than your bank account.

Find Something that sets your soul on Fire and throw yourself into it!

Once I started serving my community, it changed my attitude about everything.

The key to a Cause is that it cannot be about you – it MUST be about serving others.

When you Help others, You Help yourself!

3.  Go for the Cold!

Three years ago, I started following Tony Robbin’s advice on Cold Showers.

This was NOT easy. I loved my hot showers, especially after a long day or on cold mornings.

Today I take two Cold Showers per day – 1 to start my day and 1 to end my day.

This single thing has revolutionized my mornings, energy, and productivity.

I get more done in the first 2 hours of my day now than I used to get done in 8!

The health and Energy benefits are off the chart but if you need more convincing, then do it to help save our natural recourses.

It is the right thing to do for our environment!

4.  Breathe

Yes, of course, you are breathing, but are you using strategic breathing to your advantage.

Each day, there will be times when you feel overwhelmed, anxious, stressed, or unmotivated.

This happens to everyone.

These are times when you need to know how to use Strategic Breathing to change your Energy levels.

A mentor taught me this way: 6-7-8-4

Breath in through your nose for 6 seconds.

Hold Your Breath for 7 seconds.

Breath out your mouth for 8 seconds.

Repeat this 4 times.

I know this seems like nothing BUT just try it.

This has worked wonders for me in lowering my stress and anxiety.

5. Read the Owner’s Manual

You were Wonderfully and Carefully made.

Find out from the Owner what the best way is for you to Live, Work, Eat, and Love.

Get yourself a Bible (Owner’s manual) and spend time learning who you are and why you are here.

God does not make mistakes – He only creates Masterpieces!
