Society today is consumed with doing as little as possible and then becomes shocked when they Fail!
The Most Committed Wins, not the Lukewarm soul waiting for success to come knocking.
Too many of us are sitting around waiting for the perfect job, marriage, health, or opportunity to be successful.
To win, you must play with the hand you currently have, and many times that will call for going All-In!
We can’t wait and hope that things will change on their own – they NEVER do!
In the movie First Knight, Richard Gere played Lancelot.
My favorite part of the movie was when a young farmer, who was impressed by Lancelot’s ability with the sword, asked him what he needed to do to be that good.
The last part of the answer was, “You must not care whether you live or die.”
This means The Most Committed Wins!
The young farmer walked away with his head down. The price was too high for him.
What are the most important areas of your life?
Ask yourself how badly do you genuinely want to succeed in these areas?
The litmus test of whether you will be successful in these areas is:
ARE YOU WILLING TO LAY YOUR LIFE DOWN FOR IT?
This does NOT mean you have to die. It means you must be willing to give up everything that Lukewarm People are unwilling to walk from:
Easy Entertainment – TV, Social Media, Sports, Hobbies, News, and Drinking.
Anchor Associations – Complainers, Toxic, Negative, and Employee Mentality People.
Horrible Habits – Showing up Late, Excuses, Lazy Work Ethic, & an Undisciplined Lifestyle.
Fearful Feelings – People Pleasing, Risk Aversion, Standing Alone, Fear of Failure, & Indecision.
Push your chips to the center of the table with bravado and go All-In for your Job, Marriage, Church, and Health.
