One of my favorite Twilight Zone episodes was about a mobster who died and went to his eternal resting place. It was a wonderful place, everything he ever wished for and wanted. He played poker and won every hand. Every woman desired him. At first, this was a dream come true, but he started to hate his new home after some time. In the end, he confessed to the keeper that he did not like Heaven after all. He requested to try hell instead, and his keeper replied…this is HELL!
Most of us see life’s Obstacles as devices of Torture, BUT in truth, Obstacles are your Friends!
The military obstacle course is used to familiarize recruits with the tactical movement they will use in combat, as well as physical training, building teamwork, and evaluating problem-solving skills.
One of the mottos is, “The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in war.”
Your Obstacle Course was set to prepare YOU for the kind of tactical movement you will need to achieve your Goals!
The Course you are running in life is filled with Opportunities (Obstacles) to build strength, confidence, mental toughness, determination, critical thinking, and creative problem solving that YOU will need to succeed.
Permanence, perseverance, and persistence in spite of all obstacles, discouragements, and impossibilities: It is this, that in all things distinguishes the strong soul from the weak.

Obstacles force us to choose one of the following:
1. Quit, Whine, Make Excuses, Rationalize and Become a Victim
OR
2. Attack the Obstacle, Fail, Learn from it, and Try Again.
A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history.
Nobody sets out with a plan to quit and fail, but so often we let obstacles get in the way of our success.
They start off towards their goal, full of energy and ambition, and then years later, we find them still camped out in front of the Opportunity (Obstacle) that they quit on!
Your set of Obstacles are strategically set for you to achieve your goals.
Obstacles are the most important ingredient to a successful life!
Success will NOT be easy, so stop wishing for that kind of life. It makes YOU WEAK.
Obstacles are life’s secret sauce.
Stop trying to avoid or wish for them to go away.
A life without obstacles is a life of HELL!
