Everyone Complains!

The challenge is most people fall into the Bad types of Complainers.

I believe we can boil down everyone who complains into 3 types:

1.     The Chronic Complainer

This person is a Professional complainer. They will complain about everything and live their lives as a victim. These people will not accept responsibility for any part of their lives because it is ALWAYS someone else’s fault as to why they are unhappy and unfulfilled! There is never a light at the end of the tunnel for this group unless it’s a train headed their way. If you have people like this in your life, it is best to treat them as you would a minefield unless you like things blowing up all the time.

2.     The Venting Sympathy Seeker

As the name suggests, this type of complainer is the person who will keep on whining and complaining about one thing or the other. You can tell if someone is in this group because they will NOT want solutions or advice. They vent because they want Attention, Sympathy, and Validation. The difference between the Chronic Complainer and this group is the level of Intensity, Anger, and Negativity.  They will try to gain your love, care, and affection by seeking sympathy.

3.     The Involved Complainer

This group represents less than 25% of the people. Their complaints are instructive and valuable because they are INVOLVED and INVESTED in the Solution! People who fall into this group have decided to put their money, time, resources, and talents where their mouths are! They want to make a change and are consistently working in the area they Complain about. It is easy to tell these people apart. Look at their Checkbooks and Calendars, and you will see the proof of their lifestyle. This group decided to take responsibility instead of giving blame.

We desperately need More Involved Complainers.

It is easy to become a Chronic or Sympathy Complainer.

Anyone with more than two brain cells can point out the problems in our Country, Communities, Churches, and Careers.

It takes a Man or Woman of Character to accept responsibility for a problem in one of those areas and devote their lives to changing it!

“Maturity is when you stop complaining and making excuses in your life; you realize everything that happens in life is a result of the previous choice you’ve made and start making new choices to change your life.” ― Roy Bennett

You can become an Involved Complainer by changing your focus.

Start by listing all the Good that your Country, Communities, Churches, and Careers are doing.

It is there, but you will have to change your focus and who you are listening to. Do not let the Miserable Mob Mentality decide for you. They stopped thinking for themselves long ago and now just want to be on the most popular bandwagon.

Once you have a list, start being GRATEFUL for the Good that is happening.

NO Country is Perfect.

NO Community is Perfect.

NO Church is Perfect.

NO Career is Perfect.

We have enough people who are pointing out ALL the stuff that is wrong.

BE one of the Few, The Proud, The Involved Complainers!
