When we are ignorant of our calling, who and what we were created to be, we subject ourselves to live a life wandering from one thing to another.
This type of life seems easier, but the cost will be overwhelming. You will never fulfill what you were created to do, and many people will suffer because of it.
Moses was supposed to lead his people to their Promised Land, but he and millions of others never made it even though they were within a couple of day’s walk from their destination!
They spent 40 years wondering, complaining, and living with just enough to get by.
This story sounds all too familiar to what is happening today.
Most of us start out with good intentions, but at the first sign of struggle or failure, we start longing for the life of Bondage we just came from.
Knowing your Purpose brings Clarity to your Destiny!
This gives you the Energy, Vision, and Courage to do what others think is impossible.
I have lived large portions of my life not knowing what my Purpose/Passion was or chasing false ones out of fear.
Your Promised Land is a place to rest from your constant wandering. It is a Spiritual, Emotional, and Physical place that overflows with all the things you need and desire.
There are 2 conditions You must follow to reach YOUR Promised Land:
1. Faith – You must believe God Called and Equipped you to this Journey. He did not make a mistake, and you have been given ALL that you need to do it!
2. Faithfulness – Stay the course. This is a Marriage, not a One Night Stand! Stop chasing the Mistresses: Power, Prestige, Popularity, Position, & Prosperity. These are Decoys to get you off course.
When we chase after our Purpose/Passion, we are chasing after God’s plan for our life.
All of the things we truly want, and need are waiting for us in the Promised land.
