Tom Burnett was on Flight 93 that was hijacked on 9/11. He was able to talk to his wife Deena a couple of times before the plane crashed.
During his last conversation with Deena, he told her, “We are going to take back the Airplane.”
She begged him to sit quietly and not draw attention to himself, but his last words were:
“We’ve got to do something.”
Tom and the other passengers of Flight 93 are heroes. They saved many lives because they took action!
Somebody’s got to do Something!
Our Purpose & Passion are a lot like being a passenger on a plane. We get on with other people planning to get to a certain destination.
Sometimes we experience delays, personal loss, and the possibility of our Purpose & Passion getting high jacked!
No matter what happens in our lives we must take the same attitude Tom had:
Somebody’s got to do Something!
The path to your Purpose and the path to your Passion starts with doing SOMETHING!
What are you dealing with right now that makes you mad, frustrated, or concerned?
The question is, if YOU don’t do something, then who will?
The biggest mistake we make is to sit quietly, trying not to draw attention to ourselves, believing that SOMEONE else will do something to effect change.
The only way you can take back your life (Purpose & Passion) is to take action.
You have to DO something, and it DOESN’T matter if the action is right!
The ONLY wrong choice in life is NOT to take any action hoping someone else will.
The plane I’ve been on for the past 30 years is to serve Entrepreneurs. That is my Purpose & Passion.
