Have you ever wondered how actors Play Dead in a Movie or TV show? How do they lay there with a camera on them, and it looks like they are not breathing or blinking?

It’s not easy playing dead for a living!

Hollywood calls these types of actors Corpse Duty or Working Stiffs. They get paid about $139 a day plus overtime and all the food they can eat. That’s a little over minimum wage!

You do not need to go to the movies to see a great performance of an actor playing dead. All you have to do is show up to work and watch up to 70% of the workforce Play Possum (They are Playing Dead)!

In the animal kingdom, the act of playing dead is sometimes referred to as “playing possum.” When under threat, opossums can go into shock for as long as 4 hours.

A number of animals may even emit odors that resemble the smell of decaying flesh when Playing Dead.

Once again, you can see these same traits in the Work Place. Hopefully, we are not emitting foul odors BUT we are emitting a Foul Attitude or Stinkin Thinkin!

Like the Possum, we Play Dead when faced with something threating like: WORK, or Facing our Goals, Dreams, and Aspirations

The problem with being on Corpse Duty at work is the dead work hard for their money!

You think it’s the easy or the only way out, BUT you end up having to work so much harder and your Stinky Attitude keeps all opportunities away.

It’s not easy playing dead for a living!

The Possum has nothing on the American Worker when it comes to playing dead. We can stay in a catatonic state, place where you play it safe and quit on your dreams, for 40 YEARS!

You are going to have to work hard no matter what. You might as well do it as a Predator chasing your dream than being Prey and giving up at the first sign of struggle!
