High School was one of my greatest failures in life because I did not exercise an ounce of Self Discipline.

All my attention went to things I wanted to do: Play, Watch TV, Party with friends, or anything besides doing homework or studying for a test.

Self-discipline is a developed behavior where YOU CHOOSE to do what you know you should do, rather than what you want to do!

I chose to do what was easy because I was weak, lazy, and arrogant!

Like a muscle, Self-Discipline must be developed through daily application. A lack of Discipline leads us to a life of mediocrity and no one is looking to hire, marry, or run with those who are crawling through life.

Self-discipline must be applied daily if you are to master your bad habits and fear-based desires.

It makes a commitment to get started and the stamina to persevere. Being disciplined gives you the strength to withstand hardships and difficulties, whether physical, emotional, or mental. It allows forgoing immediate satisfaction, gain something better, but which requires effort and time.

It’s the inner power that pushes you to get out of bed to exercise rather than sleeping in.

Discipline is taking the hard road that produces value in your life instead of the easy road that enslaves you to your carnal desires that produce a life of frustration.

You will achieve your goals.

Your self-esteem & energy will soar.

People will respect you.

You will become an influencer.

You will see greater success & more opportunities.

You will enjoy a more rewarding and satisfying life.

The first step in becoming a disciplined person is to make a commitment that today you are going to do what you know you should do when you should do them.

You cannot allow yourself to make excuses or justify not doing what you should do.

If you struggle with discipline, then start small.

Start by getting up on time, loading the dishwasher, oiling the squeaky door, or cleaning your bathroom.

Start today doing all the little things you know you should do, but don’t feel like doing.

Being a disciplined person will be one of the hardest things you do, but it will also be the most rewarding.

All successes, in every part of your life, are built on the foundation of discipline.

Make a commitment to discipline your Feelings, Behaviors, and Habits today.
