All success has a conception date, and that is the day Desire is conceived in you!
Your Success Birthday is the day you launched or took action on that Desire.
Before you can celebrate a Birthday, you must first get Pregnant!
Long before I ever started our first business, I dreamed of starting and owning businesses. That Desire drove me to do things I was not comfortable doing and honestly didn’t think I was ready for.
Desire to be an entrepreneur caused me to volunteer to get out of the Military after serving for eight years. I had no skills, money or resources to enter the civilian world or be an owner but I had Desire.
That Desire was so strong that it pushed me past my fears of failing and public speaking. It was so strong that I committed to a job in full commission sales which is the polar opposite of who I was at the time!
Two years later I was 27 years old when we bought our first business. I was told we were too young, didn’t have the money, know-how or abilities to be successful.
To be successful at any goal or endeavor, you must first have a strong Desire. Without this, you WILL Quit because success will demand from you things you do not currently have.
Desire is the invisible foundation you will begin with, and it will make up for the lack in the other areas.
No Desire = No Success.
My Desire to be a business owner far outweighed all of my fears and shortcomings. It drove me to do things I did not think I was capable of doing, and even told people I could never do!
Taking action is critically important BUT before you do, make sure you know what your Desire is and you are fanning that Desire into a full-blown Addiction!
Then you will be ready to celebrate a Success Birthday.
