Everyone wants to start with the big stuff. We want it all given to us at the beginning so we don’t have to struggle and pay the price. We want CHEAP and EASY!
One of the men from our church came to me one day and asked if he could do one of the sermons on a Sunday Morning. I told him, no, but he could work the Nursery instead.
He left offended that day because I had the gall to ask him to start with something small and work his way up.
That gentleman wanted to bypass the years of study, work, and faithfulness and become the Pastor.
This happens every day in every business around the world.
We had a new salesperson start work and left after two weeks because we would not give them the stations larger accounts!
If you don’t earn it, YOU don’t deserve it!
The path to success is paved by being faithful with the little stuff that must get done every single day.
You will be amazed at what will happen to you and for you if you will be faithful where you are right now.
STOP trying to skip the small stuff and jump into the big stuff. The small stuff will create opportunities to handle and do the big stuff.
No company wants to have a Prima Donna on staff. Be the person that gets the job done no matter what is asked.
There are so few people willing to be trusted daily with the little things. That is why those people that you can trust with the little things get promoted, make more money, get recognized and have one opportunity after another thrown at them!
Be faithful where you are right now and this New Year will give you more than you could have wished for.
