“You will learn to love each other” These words were spoken by a Pastor in a romantic western over a couple he was about to marry who did not know each other. The Pastor had Arranged the Marriage.

Your job is a lot like an Arranged Marriage. Prior to your working there or the company knowing too much about you, both parties make a commitment to each other.

Both sides need something the other has. You need a paycheck, and the business needs work to be done.

Now all you have to do is Learn to Love Each other!

All too often our view of work is as skewed as our view of marriage. We have this vision that it will solve all our problems and every day will be filled with Rainbows and Unicorns!

Success in Marriage or work is a long-term commitment and will take you having a great attitude, work ethic, and you must manage those skewed expectations!

What if it’s not the boss, job, company, peers or customers that are causing you to hate what you do? In the overwhelming majority of the time, the problem is you and me and our attitude towards our work that is causing the divorce.

Stop throwing a Pity Party every Monday through Thursday because work is a part of life and life should be Lived – All of it.

You must learn to love what you do EVEN if you‘re not doing what you love! When you do this, it will open the floodgates of opportunity in your life and work.

You might not like the boss, job, company, peers or customers but if you work with Passion for gaining valuable skills at what you do the love for your job will follow.

Winning at work covers up a lot of the things that suck!

Your job is your Arranged Marriage. Make the best of it by learning to love it even if you don’t like it.
