My idea of balancing my checkbook was to close my bank account one time a year and change banks! This was how I would Balance my accounts.
I was forced to change my accounting style once we were stationed in Germany since we only had one bank. Instead of taking the time to balance my accounts I would round up on the ledger for any check I wrote.
This was always exciting because we never really knew how much we had in the account at any given time. It’s like playing Russian roulette with your finances, at some point you are going to shoot yourself!
Balancing your checkbook is very similar to Balancing your life, and there are 3 areas in life that must Balance, or you will end up with bad Character (Credit).
Your Checkbook, Calendar, and your Complaining must Balance, or you will end up with Bad Character.
All three of these things tell us what we value most in life. They are our life’s Balance Sheet.
For most people, their complaining is nothing more than writing bad checks! They have nothing in the bank but keep on writing one bad check after another (Complaints). This lifestyle will bankrupt you, and at some point, no one will trust you with anything!
The formula to Balance your life is to make sure your Checkbook and Calendar have enough deposits to cover your Complaints.
I love to complain about how Politicians make foolish regulations and taxation on Entrepreneurs making it very difficult for them to succeed.
Since this is major Complaint or what my mouth is busy writing checks on, then you should be able to Audit my Checkbook and Calendar to make sure they Balance.
Your Checkbook and Calendar must show consistent deposits of how you are involved with your Money and Time with what you are complaining about.
If they do not balance, then you MUST either stop writing checks (Complaining) or get involved consistently with your Time and Money.
My checkbook and Calendar are balanced with my Complaining now but early in my life most of my time was spent writing checks with my mouth that my life could not cover!
