We bought a weight bench for my youngest son recently that had the phrase “Some Assembly Required” on the box. There were over a hundred parts that needed to be assembled, and the instructions made it look and seem easy.
That was not the case for me, but then it never is when I have to follow instructions and have so many moving parts.
We were able to finish a 20-minute assembly in just under 2 hours, but the good news is all the parts were there, and the finished product looked like the advertised picture.’
Your life is a lot like the weight set in the box unassembled. You have hundreds of parts, and some of them are so small you don’t even know you have them until you need them.
Your life demands Some Assembly Required. Each of us regardless of color, shape, size, personality, intelligence or family origin was created with all the parts you will need to face every challenge in life!
You are an unfinished Masterpiece. Everything you need to succeed in each area was given to you at conception. It takes the required assembly to get to a finished product, and that will be a lifelong process.
There is not one challenge you will face in life that is not already on the inside of you. You have all you need to overcome your current circumstances.
It never looks that way when you are facing your Mountain, which looks so big and overwhelming, but you were given the part needed to overcome.
Most of the parts in the box for the weight bench we bought looked insignificant and useless on their own, but when assembled together with the other parts it created something strong enough to hold more weight than we could ever lift!
You and I are the same way. We might have come into this world differently but each part we have when assembled together with all the other parts becomes something miraculous and strong beyond our ability to comprehend.
