Moses was instructed by God to take His people and leave the security of the only life they had ever known…The Exodus! He wanted better things for them in a place called the Promised Land.   You will never make it to your Promised Land living as a slave to your fears surrounding yourself with people just like you.   There will be times in your life that you will need an Exodus from the average, from security, from familiarity, and from comfort.   Moses told the Hebrews that God had a better plan and place for them and all they had to do was leave their life of slavery. You would think that they would have jumped at the opportunity to leave torture, slavery, and lack of food, a merciless dictator and living in poverty.   They did not. The Hebrews whined and made a million excuses as to why they should stay and live in a hopeless situation that had not changed in centuries.   To them, this was a “Safer” option than stepping out of their comfort zone to follow their dreams and birthright!   Take a look at your life and honestly ask yourself what areas are you living beneath your birthright. Are you hustling towards your Promised Land or squatting in your excuses?   I’ve had to make many Exoduses in my life to get away from my self-imposed slavery to security and comfort.   As a junior in High School, I decided to join the Military for many reasons but one of them was I knew I had to leave my circle of friends or I would never have the courage to pursue my dreams.   I volunteered to leave the Military after 8 years to pursue my dream of becoming an Entrepreneur.  The Air Force was great to me, but I’d become a slave to comfort and was making excuses as to why my dreams of owning businesses were foolish.   Thirty years ago I made an Exodus from drinking and hanging around people that all they wanted to do was drink. This was a big part of my life, and I was close to losing control and giving up on becoming more.   You must have an Exodus with anything that tries to keep you in fear, comfort, and living as a slave.   Your birthright is to pursue and live in the Promised Land!                                                Find Your Passion and You Will Find Your Life!
