As a young man, desperate to find a job, my Pastor told the company he wanted to work for that he would work for FREE! This was done, he said, because the Gift of Giving is Favor.
This sounded absolutely crazy to me when he first told me. He needed money to pay bills but offered to work every day for FREE. The company finally said yes to his offer, and he showed up each day and gave them the best of his energy and work ethic.
They hired him within the month to a paying position, and by the end of the year, he was promoted several times!
Think about your life right now. What are areas you want to change, to grow and get better? It’s easy to detect these areas of your life. They are the ones you are complaining about!
Complaining is the opposite of giving. When we complain about the things we don’t have or like we are Rejecting, Refusing and Removing ourselves from the very things we want! It pushes you further away from what we desperately need.
These are areas you need Favor and that only happens when you are a giver.
Giving opens the doors of opportunity and opens your eyes to recognize them. Having favor on your life gives you Advantages, Approval, and Acceptance. This is Life’s Triple-A Plan!
You move towards what you need by giving the very things you want!
If you are lonely and want friendship, then become friends to those who are lonely.
Want that big promotion at work then do the work as if you are in the position now.
Do you need wisdom and council from those who are highly successful then give the wisdom and council you have to those who need to be where you are now.
The Gift of Giving is Favor, and once you have Favor you have Advantages, Approval, and Acceptance!
