Birds of a feather flock together

What type of Flock are you flying with? In nature, birds of a single species frequently form flocks. Ornithologists explain this behavior as a ‘safety in numbers’ tactic to reduce the risk of predation.

Just like the Animal Kingdom, we tend to Flock with groups who fit our risk aversion. We want to fly with a group we are Comfortable with, i.e., people who will play it safe, so we can feel better about ourselves.

IT”S A BIG FAT LIE WE TELL OURSELVES!

You have a choice. Run with the Turkeys or Fly with the Eagles. I know that Turkeys can fly for short distances, but they are land bound most of the time.

The Flock YOU choose dictates the type of life, health, relationships, money, happiness, and success you will achieve.

I have changed Flocks many times over the last 30 years. Each time because I desired more risk and less security.

Take a good look at those that are currently in the Flock you belong to and ask these questions:

Do they invest in training or do they spend time entertaining themselves every day?

Do they run or crawl to work every day?

Do they set goals or just talk a good game?

When you are with them, do they inspire and at times frighten you with their drive and ambition?

Or do they suck out all the energy in the room with their complaining, blaming and whining?

Would you be proud or disappointed to be just like them?

Your Flock holds the ingredients to your future success or failure. You get to decide whether you want to run around on the ground or soar high in the sky.

The Flock you chose will either lift you up to heights you never imagined or anchor you to the ground floor constantly looking up and blaming all your problems on those above you!
