The divide between the Rich and the Poor has never been wider than it is right now. The Media, Politicians and many Colleges will tell you that the reason this is happening is the Rich are making sure that you can’t make it! Is this true?
If the Rich and their minions can control whether you or I can make it out of the Rat Race then there are only two things left to do: Bury your head in the sand and cry for your mommy!
One of the arguments the media will feed us is this: Does a CEO work harder than any others in the corporation he leads? The CEO makes a hundred times or more than the average worker, and some will try to convince you this is wrong.
First, it has nothing to do with hard or equal work. The CEO’s get paid based on the value they bring to the company and the problems they solve.
Secondly, any one can do the work necessary to become a CEO. What we never talk about is what you never see: the time, effort, risk, investment, sacrifice, education, work on themselves, failures, and a hundred other things that those who succeed do to make it to high levels of success.
Why do Mega stars like Matt Damon and Jennifer Lawrence make so much more than 99% of all other actors/actresses? Do they work longer and harder than other actors? According to the argument the Media and Politicians will give you, these actors are the ones who are in the wrong! They don’t deserve that amount of money and they should share it with the other actors who do not make that much.
I am sure there are as many bad rich people as there are poor and middle class people. Rich people are NOT your problem, and YOU DO NOT have a lack of money problem. We have a lack of knowledge problem! The Great Divide has NOTHING to do with Money but has everything to do with Knowledge and Attitude!
Stop listening to the Media and those who have a motive to keep you in place (Those who want to DIVIDE you) by giving you an excuse not to try. If you believe you’re not responsible for your own success or that you cannot make it to be successful, then you have volunteered to become a slave!
Start today to work on yourself. Turn off the TV and pick up a book about business, motivation, investing or any area you want to learn and grow. Start listening to those who can help you – those who have been there and have done what you want to be and do.
The rich keep getting rich because they DO the things that got them Rich! The poor keep getting poorer because they keep doing the things that made them poor.
