What are you complaining about?

Complaining is very revealing and most of what it’s showing others isn’t pretty! While I was stationed in Europe with the Military, we noticed that a lot of the men wore Speedos. The problem with Speedos is they are very small, and most of these men were very large. Can you picture what I am saying? If you can, then I am sorry! There should be a law that large heavy men should never be allowed to wear a tiny bathing suit – it reveals too much ugly!

Complaining does the same thing to us; it reveals too much ugly soul. And like us on the beach in Europe, people will try to distance themselves from you. However, complaining also reveals a clue to your hidden strength or ability. That which you have eyes to see (whatever it is you’re complaining about), you have the strength and ability to fix. When we complain, we become part of the problem and if we continue to complain, we start growing the problem! Complaining has the ability to make mountains out of mole hills. It feeds the problem and not the solution – stop watering your problems!

Since complaining also reveals strength, let’s put that fire on the inside of you to work. Getting involved is the opposite of complaining. Whatever it is that you see and causes you to be an arm chair quarterback, sitting on the sidelines and complaining about others who are involved, instead of starting fires with your mouth, let’s get involved and use that energy to create change. What do you see that sets off your ugly? Take inventory of what you have been consistently complaining about and then take action. Get in the game and start making a positive impact – put your time and money where your mouth is!

Your complaining is revealing some strength or ability that you possess that is needed to solve the problem! What do you see?

Find your Passion and you will find your life!
