Getting out of bed this morning was harder than usual. It’s cold, and the deep chill penetrates your bones and makes it hard to get motivated. Everything moves slower and takes more effort when you’re cold. My morning routine of coffee, breakfast, shower and work has taken twice as long. Can you imagine what it was like before the discovery of fire? Life would be a colossal struggle from cradle to grave. I am glad we have fire to heat, protect, cook, provide and create! Fire has created a life of unlimited opportunities and comfort.
Our individual lives are the same on the inside. Without fire, everything moves slower and takes more effort. What possibilities await you if a fire is sparked deep down on the inside of yourself? Everything would change! The question is not how do we start the fire, but rather who lights our fire? Since each of us was custom made to “fit” into the lives of others, we need to know who these others are.
The local, Mom & Pop, business owner lights my fire! Like the invention of fire, this discovery of my own “fit” in the community has created unlimited opportunities. Who is it that lights your fire? If you’re struggling to answer that question, then it is the most important answer you must find. Many years ago, I watched a good friend as she worked with at-risk teens. Amazingly, she was able to connect with this group and make an impact on their lives in a matter of seconds! I began working with her, and it took me a year to make the kind of impact she did in a day! She not only changed the lives of these teens, but she also changed the dynamics of an entire city. That is FIRE! She wasn’t an extraordinary person; she just had extraordinary passion. You too will make this type of impact in the world. This is what happens when we find our passion!
Start your quest today. Get out there and find out who lights your fire. It’s a specific group of people like at-risk teens or local business owners. Search your heart and discover what group of people you connect with.

Find your passion and you will find your life!
